Anybody want some rain? We've got plenty and it's not supposed to stop till Wednesday! In 1937 the Ohio River flooded big time. It crested in Paducah, Ky. at 60.6 ft. Flood stage is 32 feet. This storm is going to come just a couple feet short of the '37 flood. Getting rough down here!!

Today's Question(s):
In honor of Telephone Day

How many phones are in your home ?
Aside from one cell phone, there are probably four or five around the house, but only one is connected.
How many are cordless ?
Only one... and it's not in use... needs new rechargeable batteries and I keep forgetting to buy them!
Corded ?
Have one of the old corded phones connected until I buy those new batteries.

Do you have a:
Sit on the counter answering machine ?
Internal answering machine through the phone company ?
This one

Do you "screen" your calls ?
I usually do, but the phone I'm using now is really old and doesn't have the display feature.

lol Fess up Last call you didn't pick up once you saw who it was ?
I have one particular friend who can't complete a phone call in less than 90 minutes so I confess to not always taking his calls if I don't have much time, or am watching something interesting on TV.

Extra Credit Question:

Next or last thing you will be or have "researched" ?
I'm currently checking on the procedures for getting rid of cobweb-making spiders in the house... deciding between professional pest controllers and doing it myself with some concoction from the hardware store.

Bonus Question:

If someone asks "Where are you from" ,do you respond with the place you
Were born ?
Grew up ?
Lived the longest ?
Where you live now ?
Depends - if it's someone I just meet casually that I'm unlikely to see again I tell them where I live now... anyone else I tell them where I was born (which is the same as where I grew up).

Just For Fun:
Last time you would of loved to of been "a fly on the wall" ?
Hmmm, can't think of any time lately.

Have a great week everyone!
