Good morning posters and welcome to Wednesday.

I'm thinking about how you respond to something by post or email, and before you know it your information has been passed onto other parties.

Next thing you know you are being hounded by these others.

I couldn't believe how quickly we were bombarded with stuff when we moved to the US where it was even worse than here in the UK.

So today's peeve is;

Yesterday between noon and 3pm, prime nap time for us old people, I received 9 calls. Most of them, because my pending relocation, were necessary. I can't wait to get to TN, I'll have a new number that nobody knows.

The postal garbage is terrible. It goes straight to the garbage can from my mailbox.
The emails just get deleted immediately.
The phone calls? I have the ringer OFF, 24/7, always.

I hate the phone, 3 calls yesterday in a row, caller ID said "Political Call", "800Service", and "Private Number". None of them were answered, 3 pcs of junk mail. Deleted 7 emails this morning

Unwanted forwards with jokes that aren't funny!! Drives me nuts.

This is why I have an unlisted phone number and I have a gmail account for spam. Most of it goes there--or it did until I closed the account. The mail I just toss as soon as I get back into the house.

I get calls from a local number on my cell all the time. I answered it once because the calls were so incessant that I thought it was someone I knew trying to contact me on a different phone. On the other end was Chinese language. lol. I get calls every day now. I never answer, but it's constant. Thank goodness they don't leave voicemail. Not sure what the point is...


I also have an old friend who only forwards emails. I tried to email her back once to catch up and she ignored me, but sent another forward...a religious one. Can't help but think she was trying to tell me something. So I blocked her.
