Good morning, folks. It’s another beautiful Thursday and before we know it the weekend will be here
Here’s a little heads up about an activity that one would normally think is safe, but . . . Didja know? A British medical journal called The Practitioner has determined that bird watching can be hazardous to one's health
They have officially designated bird watching a hazardous activity, using the example of the death of a bird watcher who became so wrapped up in watching a particular bird that he failed to notice his potentially dangerous surroundings and was eaten by a crocodile
The bird population around here is amazing, so popular. Everyday I see someone giving someone the bird as I drive around town. And dangerous too. Saw a guy giving a bird to someone who cut him off, he was so excited he nearly hit a a telephone poll....
Bird watching can be interesting, I usually keep my binoculars handy and observe birds in the area. Usually there are more of them during the period of time when the neighbors in the area are using their pools and doing a little skinny dipping during the day while hubby is at work. Sun bathing also seems to attract the birds in the area to watch.
Didja know: if you boil (be sure to keep the can completely covered with water at all times) a can of Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk for a couple of hours it will turn into a delicious Carmel sauce? Great for dipping apple slices in........yummy!!!!
