When the patient recovers from the anesthetic, wheel him on the gurney to the accounts payable and billing department.

He needs to close his bank accounts, sign over his house, sell the car and truck, auction the furniture, sell the family pet, call his relatives and borrow the rest of the money needed for this surgery. He might also want to apply for another job to work during his off hours to earn extra income that he can put towards the hospital bill as well. Next time he’ll think twice about getting ill and getting treatment.
