Good morning posters.

As usual I loved all the comments made yesterday.

My daughter passed her driving exam last week and is now more independent. However she got home yesterday to tell me that she was badly tailgated by the bus she used to use!

I could spend all year just on driving issues, but that one stands high, if not at the top, in the list;

Tailgating.

Tailgating is rarely seen in Las Vegas.

Here, they merely bump into the rear of your car, pushing you off onto the sidewalk and speed away!

Bothers me too. During the day, i'll just turn on the headlights and make it look like i'm braking so they'll back off.

If that doesn't work i'll just keep pace with the car next to me. I do have the occasional P-ant moment. Lol

That why I didn't drive anywhere when I was there in March! The resort had a shuttle to the main drag and I walked from there to where I wanted.

I also learned to NEVER take a taxi !

If you can move over to the other lane.

I try not to worry about the cars behind me. They can just wait.

Sometimes I'm the tailgater when I get behind the slow moving farm equipment and can't pass.

I drive a small convertible and i HATE tailgaters in great big intimidating cars...
I just repeatedly break and sometimes weave about a bit... makes them think I'm an accident waiting to happen and they back off !! If they hit me its gonna be expensive !!

Tailgaters...Grrrr! One time I got so pi$$ed off that I stopped, got out of my car and asked the person "Why he wanted to ride so close?" "If I have to break suddenly it won't be a good thing for either of us so get a grip, and chill out!" He looked at me like I was nuts and said he was sorry and that was the end of his tailgating. lol!! I know it wasn't a smart thing to do,especially if the guy had a gun but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Good thing there wasn't a cop around otherwise I would of probably gotten arrested!

My daughter pulled over as I told her to do.

I am awaiting a call from the bus company, having lodged a complaint.

My daughter couldn't go any faster due to traffic, not that that should make any difference to the behaviour of the bus driver.

It greatly angers me that that bus driver is happy to put the life of my daughter, as well as the passengers on that bus, in unnecessary danger.

Good driving is as much, if not more, about attitude as it is about skills.
