Today's Peeve is about planning, and comes courtesy of Sudcaro. How many of you have made plans with someone to visit with you, who then fails to materialize and doesn't bother to let you know that they cannot make it (so alternate plans can be arranged); and doesn't call to apologize for their absence? Thanks Sudcaro..that's a great peeve.

Nice job, taigagirl!
I had this happen only once, about 10 years ago. I had plans with a friend and she didn't show and didn't call. I was so disappointed. She'd connected with some other friends that evening and forgot what day it was and that we'd had plans.
Location: I never said I was perfect so no refunds here sorry!

I used to get excited about company coming and equally excited about them leaving as well ..........so any more if ya show up fine and if ya don't ....oh well just another day
Mine is when family is bringing part of the meal. They know you are cooking Thanksgiving dinner for 10 without your spouse. Then they can't show up on time. Can you still feel the anger.
I learned, long ago, not to plan on anyone, so I'm never disappointed.
Always got Plans B, C, D, E, always!
I just wish Hallmark would come up with cards, like: Thank-you, for cancelling your plans!
I usually have a Plan B. I love the card idea I wonder if people who are so inconsiderate would get the message?
