Today's Question(s):

In your opinion, where is the best ever "People Watching Place" ?
Central Park, NYC, on a sunny Sunday afternoon.

Bonus Question:
In honor of Elevator Day :

When was the last time you were on a Elevator ?
Ages, there aren't any buildings with elevators in my town.

Have you ever gotten on a elevator and forgot to push you floor button?
Yup, once or twice.

When you were a kid did you ever push all the buttons "just for fun".
If I was with my mother, I wouldn't have been allowed to!

If you are holding the door open for others getting on,do you

Hold your arm across the door ?
If it's a small elevator.
Use the door open button ?
If it's a larger elevator
Neither,if they can't hurry on oh well ?
I would never not hold the elevator if I could see someone hurrying to catch it.
I had deja vu with the above questions - I'm pretty sure we had these a few months ago!

Extra Credit Question:

Last thing that had you saying:

That was really worth the wait ?
Finally getting a booking for a fabbo restaurant in Sydney that is booked out months in advance.
and
That was a complete waste of time ?
Last week, shopping in bric-a-brac shops for a second hand chest and not finding anything suitable.

Just for Fun:

What is the one thing you do that would guarantee the "world would beat a path to your door?
If I did anything that would guarantee the world would beat a path to my door, I'd keep extremely quiet about it!

Have a Happy Tuesday.

Today's Question(s): Hi! I've got coffee and a big roast beef in the oven and it's a nice day!

In your opinion, where is the best ever "People Watching Place" ?
~ I don't know......I suppose I'd have to say the local beach where I live......well, you know........the ocean and all the pretty ladies...the waves and birds and fishes....and the pier and restaurants....yeah, I'll say it's the local beach, right near my house.

Bonus Question:
In honor of Elevator Day :

When was the last time you were on a Elevator ?
Less than 2 years ago.

Have you ever gotten on a elevator and forgot to push you floor button

When you were a kid did you ever push all the buttons "just for fun"

If you are holding the door open for others getting on,do you

Hold your arm across the door ?
Use the door open button ?
Neither,if they can't hurry on oh well ?

^^^^^ I'm going through a strong Deja Vu right now. ^^^^^

Extra Credit Question: Yayyy! I bought a new silver spoon for fishing yesterday and now this will pay for it! Thanks, Kwak!

Last thing that had you saying:

That was really worth the wait ?
Waiting the 23 - 25 minutes for my Yorkshire Puddin' to cook in the oven.

and....

That was a complete waste of time ?
Going to Publix supermarket to buy meat and/or fish. Their prices are ridiculous and their sales are pathetic.

Just for Fun:

What is the one thing you do that would guarantee the "world would beat a path to your door?"
That would have to be the breakfasts and meatballs that I cook.

Today is:
National Sausage Pizza Day My, how I LOVE sausage pizza!

Good morning, Karla - goodness, but it's grand to have you back! Good luck with PT today; I know it'll get a little better every time, even though it won't feel that way.

Yikes, breakfast is ready - back in a minute!

<hiatus>

Mmmm, I feel better now. Egg, toast and melon are gone, coffee is beside me on the end table, and I feel up to answering questions.

Today's Question(s):

In your opinion, where is the best ever "People Watching Place"?

Oh, let's see. State Street in downtown Madison always offers ample people-watching opportunities. Concerts on the Square on Wednesday evenings from late June to early August is also a wonderful chance to engage in cultural anthropology.

Bonus Question:
In honor of Elevator Day :

When was the last time you were on a Elevator?

I guess the last time was in the parking garage downtown, when we went to the first symphony concert of the season last month.

Have you ever gotten on a elevator and forgot to push your floor button?

I probably have, though I don't recall specifics. I can be pretty absent-minded at times.

When you were a kid did you ever push all the buttons "just for fun"?

Nope, I was a pretty rigidly controlled child. Didn't start getting into mischief until I went off to college, and by then, I was interested in more mischievous things than pushing elevator buttons.

If you are holding the door open for others getting on,do you

Hold your arm across the door?
This one.
Use the door open button?
Neither,if they can't hurry on oh well?

Extra Credit Question:

Last thing that had you saying:

That was really worth the wait?

We attended a chamber music concert this past Friday, and the final piece on the program was Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue, with a lot of less enjoyable stuff preceding it. The pianist was absolutely wonderful, and I thoroughly enjoyed the Gershwin after waiting all through the concert for it to start.

and
That was a complete waste of time?

Probably waiting in traffic for a train to finish crossing.

Just for Fun:

What is the one thing you do that would guarantee the "world would beat a path to your door?

I make a pretty fine pie, if I do say so. Made a blueberry pie (with sugar!) and a fudge-pecan pie over the weekend for a co-worker's birthday yesterday, and they were gone in a heartbeat.

I thought the question of the day was'nt going to come - I was getting quite fretful.
Just made a coffee, gone into C-D, and there you are - yeaaaaa baby!
The best people watching for me is in Las Vegas. We love riding the bus up the strip and
watching and listening to Americans!! Last time in an elevator was propably in Harrah's last
April in LV - I don't get out much in between holidays!! Last time worth the wait was LV!!
I know, I know.......... Getting people to beat a path to my door, would be if I entered
a TV singing contest - I could be the new Susan Boyle. When I saw her on the final of
America's Got Talent, I thought "it should be me!!"
