My glasses have two little clear plastic things that protect my nose from the metal frames. One has gotten lost and I won't be able to take it in until Monday. What can I use until I get to the eye doc?

the tendency will be to scratch or cut your nose, i would suggest putting tape on it to protect your flesh until then, in true nerd fashion. are you ok with that?

First- how cool is this site that we can get good ideas so quickly?! I feel as though I could come here no matter the quandry and I will get lots of good input. All suggestions so far have been good. Right now I am sitting here with a piece of a cotton ball sticking out of my glasses!

Totally not okay with the nerd thing- I have an image to protect! LOL

Band aid- maybe I can put a small one on the bridge of my nose.

NO MALLS THIS WEEKEND! I can't stand them on the off seson. No way will I go there this weekend.

I appreciate all of the responses!

I was able to pickup some “small pads” at the neighborhood grocery store checkout that fixed my problem a few years back. It was a good temporary fix.

yep, they have those little kits for about 2 bucks, they have those pads, screws, and a small screw driver, and these little rubber circle things that are not condoms so dont get me started, I think what they do is go around the arm of your glasses right near the eye glass to keep it tight till you can get it fixed. Most of the time right at the checkout

In a small tubular container with red ends.
