How’s everyone doing?
Yes I know, I’m posting QOTD a tad early – okay, real early - but I be sleepy
I was afraid I’d nod off and not post it

So without further ado, here are . . . .

Today's Questions:

What are three things you accomplished this week that you’re real happy about?

Was there anything on your ‘to-do’ list that you decided to blow off?

What’s on your agenda for today?

Bonus Questions:

Name one thing you could do to improve any important relationship in your life.

Just for Fun

So I was reading a story about a contest at a Seattle zoo where people try to guess the weight
of 2 hippos and the winner gets . . .

a 4 gallon bucket filled with hippo poop (I gather it’s supposed to be real good for gardens)

Not sure any of us can top that (or would want to), but . . .
What is the most unusual, strange or funny contest you’ve ever entered and what was the “prize”?

Today in History:

1783 - Revolutionary War ends; Congress ratifies Treaty of Paris
1864 - General Sherman begins his march to the South
1878 - U.S. Supreme Court rules race separation on trains is unconstitutional
1981 - FCC frees stations to air as many commercials an hour as they wish

Quote of the Day:

"Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless."

~Mother Teresa

Today is:

National Do Whatever Floats Your Boat Day
Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff Day
Eat All the Spicy Food You Want (W/No Indigestion) Day
Do “Not” Dress Up Your Pet Day

Have a great weekend everyone and

Today's Questions:

What are three things you accomplished this week that you’re real happy about?
1. Made an appt for next week with an exercise specialist who will (I hope) suggest some exercises I (a) can physically do and (b) will enjoy doing at least a little bit. I've been putting off making the appt for several weeks!
2. Finalised details of my trip to NZ in early February.
3. Made a big list of all the things I need to buy in the near future (new computer chair, new printer, new kitchen broom, etc. etc.)

Was there anything on your ‘to-do’ list that you decided to blow off?
Everything else that was on the list!

What’s on your agenda for today?
Well, it's late afternoon here, so there isn't much more on my agenda - just decide what to have for dinner, and maybe call a couple of friends.

Bonus Questions:

Name one thing you could do to improve any important relationship in your life.
There is nothing more I can do to improve my relationship with parents and brother... the ball is squarely in their court. I'm not holding my breath!

Just for Fun

Hmmm... I can't come up with anything! Certainly nothing with a prize as exciting as a bucket of poop!

Thanks Joy.

Happy Saturday to all.
