Morning y’all
. . . . . Didja Know?
In 1997, an Arizona man spotted a lone phone booth about 75 miles SW of Vegas. It was
8 miles from the nearest paved road, 15 miles from the nearest numbered highway
and miles from any buildings. The Mojave phone booth soon became an underground
tourist attraction.

In 1999 an LA Times writer reported on meeting a man at the booth who claimed the
Holy Spirit had instructed him to answer the phone

The man spent 32 days there, answering more than 500 phone calls including repeated
calls from someone who identified himself as “Sergeant Zeno from the Pentagon”.

The booth was removed in 2007 at the request of the Park Service.

Wouldn't it have been your luck to be there when it was ringing and just as you picked up they hung up!

What a great Didja Know!

Yes,,, I had heard about this telephone a number of years ago and found it very interesting. It’s a shame that they removed it, I think that was a mistake.

Was the guy thrown out of the phone booth because Clark Kent needed the booth to change into his Superman outfit?

I think the phone company removed the booth because Superman retired.. Clark Kent tried to get a job at Fox News but they turned him down... He got a job at McDonalds though.

You know, that's what I thought when I first read it. A lot of folks thought it was cool and maybe the only reason why they went out to the area.
