Good morning peevers.

Welcome to the weekend. There's a mist out there which is clearing fast and the sun is looking to break through.

Hmm. What to peeve about? Things are pretty hunky dory here, so it's difficult.

I had to go to a website that lists annoying things for inspiration, and I did find this one which does annoy me.

So, my dear peevers, here is the POTD;

People who stop in stupid places, like the top or bottom of an escalator.

Good peeve Jezer. Then they're oblivious to those trying to maneuver around them. Cell phones seems to be partially responsible these days..

Used to kill me to go to the grocery store during tourist season in CO (ski country) and have some gaper blocking the entire aisle with their cart. Even when I'd be heading right for them, they'd just stand there totally oblivious

Got so tired of it one time when a woman gave me this 'why should I have to move' look, I just smiled and told her not all of us were on vacation.

Oh man! I live in DC and there is a very clear rule that you stand to the right or walk up on the left. I know tourists don't always know better, but I feel like after a few times of observing, it should become obvious that everyone seems to be standing to the right except you. I hate it cause I always run into these people and it's so awkward because I basically bump right into their butts. So then of course I look like an idiot cause they aren't aware of escalator etiquette.

It’s not a test, it only goes up or down, just step on it!

I always bump into one of them and say something like, "Oh, excuse me I didn't see you standing there blocking the entire (insert where here)."

It's amazing how many of them have no idea what I'm talking about. There are a lot of rude, stupid people out there.

I would not advise doing this if you are not my size or can't handle yourself in a fight.
