Good morning peevers.

It's around 7am here and I have the lights on as it's quite gloomy here despite being the Summer Solstice. I hope that Miss J had a nice time up at Stonehenge this morning.

Have you ever bought a magazine or newspaper and all those inserts, or fliers, go all over the place? We get them in catalogues, in-house magazines and all sorts these days. Oh, and then there's people handing them out on the street or placing them on the windscreen of your car-

Let us know your experiences, because the POTD is;

Advertising fliers.

We have what I like to call "Junk mail Tuesday" around here.

A mailbox full of fliers, advertisements and such. Annoying and marking them "return to sender" doesn't work very well.

I work for a newspaper.
The advertising flyers pay my bills.

Those things end up in all mail boxes. It's a good idea to be sure other mail isn't tucked into the stuff before tossing in the trash. The thing that annoys me the most is receiving offers from a car dealership that knows exactly what make and model car I own.

Same here...our recycle can is always about a 1/3 full of this junk stuff every week. Good Peeve.
Post office won't forward or return 3rd class junk mail.

I make use of them.

Roll the pages up really tight, dip them in melted wax and boom, firestarters for my wood burning stove.

Seems I have an endless supply.
