Many of you have read this thread and are participating in it.

We have a city to name now. As Mayor, I am putting up the poll to vote on the name of our city(town, village, etc).

We also need to decide where the city will be located. We thought NC but it might be too humid in the summer. We don't have enough in the budget for snow removal and can't afford the high taxes of the west coast.

So let us know where you want to be. Vote for your town name. And vote for the state, if you want a state not listed, post it please.

Liz, your Mayor

My vote is for city name would be "Happiness Heights." It just has a nice, upbeat ring to it that would help to brighten one's mood when they were feeling blue, and I'm just a fan of alliteration, hence the double H's. As far as a state is concerned, I think Maryland might be a better compromise. It's slightly cooler than North Carolina, yet the winters aren't as harsh as they are in Pennsylvania. "Happiness Heights, Maryland"---sounds like a well-to-do suburb of DC! LOL!
