Greetings, kids! Scroll on down for Today's Tip!

IMPROVE YOUR CONCENTRATION AND DEXTERITY

Okay, kids, this is one of my most fun Tips ever! If you want to increase your focus and dexterity, look at pictures of puppies and kittens! Yes, you read that correctly. Participants in a recent Japanese study found that their focus and motor dexterity increased after they viewed images of baby animals. I found similar reported results in other studies done in the U.S.

Test subjects' performance increased slightly when they were shown images of dogs and cats, but there was a more dramatic increase of 40% better focus and dexterity when they looked at pictures of baby animals.

So if you find yourself having difficulty focusing at work, or if you have a difficult task or exam coming up, look at cute images of puppies and kittens shortly before undertaking the task and you may find yourself doing performing better. How fun is that?

Read about the Japanese study here.

Must not work with real life in person cats and dogs. My concentration and dexterity have been decreasing lately. But, either way I love the pics of my favorite pets/buddies! Thanks Pam!

Real life versions are supposed to lower blood pressure.

Cat and dogs would have more dexterity if they had thumbs. One of our cat's feet:

My favorite color ....all of 'em! We've gone through so many cats and the doc just put me on BP meds. I think we got the wrong kind or just over did it.

If you're ambidextrous you don't need to concentrate as much....right?

IMPROVE YOUR CONCENTRATION AND DEXTERITY

It is very humbling to watch your pets. Sometimes I sit and watch my 2 pet rocks Stoner and Pebbles for hours and when I'm done staring I perform much better with my dexterious hands.
