Don't worry about it, I think it is a matter of a few things: the forum you're in, timing, and how interested the thread participants are.
Lots of times there is a thread where everyone wants to chime in.
But sometimes there is only so much that can be said, and the last person to post becomes the "threadkiller."
I've murdered many a thread.
I've noticed that in the short time I've been a member of this board, I've ended a few threads.
Should I feel bad about that.
Sometimes it's good to have the last word.
