The first person to respond will then announce a "Topic" for discussion*. It can be as unclear, ambiguous and vague as you'd like it. Being of interest to the masses is a plus! Being informative is not necessary.

Remember the "Topic" you choose can be in any form. One or several words or phrase form. Please highlight your choice of topic in some manner.

* No politics or other ugly topics please.

Thanks to all for your contributions, large or small!

Facebook. Some of the things people post are interesting, funny or touching. Other people seem to have no boundaries or use Facebook as a place to brag or push an agenda. Some people are on Facebook all the time and others avoid it entirely. But no one is neutral, everyone seems to either love it or hate it.

Thanks Bay! ~FaceBook~ it is.

Facebook reflects the attitudes of today and the need to communicate with the masses. It's a crazy place to reveal you identity and basically your life with total strangers and/or family. Safeguards are minimal in my opinion and yet folks just let it all hang out.

Facebook, don't have anything, we don't do that or any other social media, sorry. I guess we'll go out to dinner now and check in later.

Good choice of topics! And you know it's bad when you go to a store and the clerk is on his/her phone Facebooking, wth? You can clearly see the page on the screen, and wanna say "really??!".
I have an account but it's strictly family and close friends we grew up together, only. On the other hand, it's a good way to try to reconnect with people you've lost contact with over the years.

This is one reason of many why I have no interest.

Except for maybe one person (my first and the best GF I ever had), I would be terrified if anyone in my past contacted me. No, just no.
