Hi and welcome to Sunday's Questions Of The day, May 17, 2015.
IF YOUR BIRTH DATE IS May 17, then as a Taurus born on this day, you love the chase. The journey is more fun to this Bull than the result. You strive for perfection. You are smart but reserved. People just do not know how smart you really are because of your excellent ability to hide it. You do not care what others say about you.

Let's see how I do with my 2nd eye surgery this week. Hard to type with one eye. Doc says the other eye should be okay in about 4-5 more days. Reminds me of the song "The One Eyed Purple Eater"... Do you remember it?

Questions about your computer, yes or no:
Are your icons organized?
In a particular way?
Alphabetically?
Scattered?
Some on the right side?
Some on the left side?
Sideways?
Upside down?
Do you have a screen saver?
Are you happy with your server?
Do you yell/cuss at it once in awhile?
Other?

Food questions:
If you could only have one meal for the rest of your life what would that be?
Would you be willing to eat a bowl of crickets for $50,000?
What is your perfect pizza?
What is your favorite breakfast food?
Have you ever eaten/tasted a crayon or glue?
Do you like pop-sickles?
Have you had an ice-cream bar lately?
^^^Would you like one now?
Have you had any strawberry shortcake lately?
Well if no then what do you want?

Misc. nonsense:
Has it rained near you lately?
Have you ever danced in the rain?
What is the most common thing you lose?
^^^Have you found it yet?
Do you know your blood type?
Have you ever donated blood?
Have you called in sick to work or school when you weren't really sick?
^^^Did you get caught?
Are you afraid of heights?
Okay what are you afraid of?

Hi and welcome to Sunday's Questions Of The day, May 17, 2015.
Let's see how I do with my 2nd eye surgery this week. Hard to type with one eye. Doc says the other eye should be okay in about 4-5 more days.
Reminds me of the song "The One Eyed Purple Eater"... Do you remember it?
Vaguely aware of it when I was a kid in the 1970s, but I get it mixed up with the silly poem about a purple cow.

Questions about your computer, yes or no:
Are your icons organized? If you mean files & documents, yes.
In a particular way? Suppose it's a combination of chronological order & "active" (most frequently used).
Alphabetically?
Scattered?
Some on the right side? <--Hard drive icon's default setting is for it to be in top right corner, so there it remains.
Some on the left side? <---This, for the rest of the desktop materials.
Sideways?
Upside down?
Do you have a screen saver? Yes, one of the options that came with computer.
Are you happy with your server? I don't know what that means. My internet service provider ?
Do you yell/cuss at it once in awhile? The computer and/or internet (function) ?
Mmm, not so much berate-it's more like plead with or cajole.

That's my general relationship with objects, machines, etc.
-trying to make nicey-nice & placate the mysterious technological monsters.

Other?

Food questions:
If you could only have one meal for the rest of your life what would that be? Beef & carbohydrate/starch (bread/bun, pasta, rice, something of that sort).
Would you be willing to eat a bowl of crickets for $50,000? Nope.
What is your perfect pizza? One kept as far away from me as possible, I detest it (sensory issues).
What is your favorite breakfast food? Hot mug of tea.
I don't do breakfast. I mean, I love bacon, but not that early in the day.

Have you ever eaten/tasted a crayon or glue? Paste when I was in kindergarten.
Do you like pop-sickles? Sorta', sometimes-it's a predilection that comes & goes.
Have you had an ice-cream bar lately? No.
^^^Would you like one now? Nah.
Have you had any strawberry shortcake lately? No, don't care for shortcake.
I did just have strawberry cheesecake (with berries & whipped cream) earlier in the day.

Well if no then what do you want? See above.

Misc. nonsense:
Has it rained near you lately? No, the two southern counties in state are under a "burn ban" due to dry weather.
Have you ever danced in the rain? Unlikely, as I strongly dislike getting soaked.
What is the most common thing you lose? I'm pretty good with that sort of thing, keeping track of my items.

^^^Have you found it yet?
I'm still trying to think of anything I misplace.
Pieces of paper, I guess-I file stuff, but some documents defy easy categorization, so it's an open question as to which place I stuck them.

On occasion, a hair scrunchy disappears for awhile, but it turns up eventually.
Do you know your blood type? Yes.
I specifically asked to have that test done back in 2010 bc. I was curious & had never before known what it was.

Have you ever donated blood? No, for a number of reasons.
Have you called in sick to work or school when you weren't really sick? Maybe a couple times.
Though to be fair, sometimes one truly believes one is unwell-then, surprise-one feels better as the day progresses, so it wasn't necessarily an intentional fib.

^^^Did you get caught? Once in 2nd grade. That put the fear in me, about school attendance.
Are you afraid of heights? Yup.
Okay what are you afraid of? Hundreds of things: situations, stimuli, sensations, the list would run for pages...
Have you ever been pulled over by a cop? Not personally, since I do not drive-
but I've been in the passenger seat, and the experience(s) nearly gave me panic attack. I'm a "fear-based" creature.

^^^What happened? See above.

Do you know any knock knock jokes?

^^^What happened?
I was driving home from my night job. It was 3:30 am. I got pulled over by the Highway Patrol for swerving in my lane. A nice-looking young officer appeared at the driver's side window. I explained that I hadn't had anything to drink except Diet Pepsi. The car was weaving because it had a bad front end and was hard to steer at freeway speeds. The friendly young officer chatted with me for a while about the hassles of working nights. I told him I was engaged and was getting married soon. He said he had a girlfriend but that it was hard to maintain a relationship with different schedules. I sympathized, and then he let me go.

About two months later on my way home from work, I saw the red lights in my rear view window once again. This time I was driving a different car, one that I'd just gotten. When the officer came to the window, we recognized each other immediately. It was the same guy who'd pulled me over before! This time it was because my tags were out of date. I explained that I'd just returned from my honeymoon and hadn't been able to go to the DMV because of my work schedule. He let me off. I never saw him again. That was nearly 35 years ago, but I still think of him and wonder how he is getting along.

Let's see how I do with my 2nd eye surgery this week. Hard to type with one eye. Doc says the other eye should be okay in about 4-5 more days. Reminds me of the song "The One Eyed Purple Eater"... Do you remember it? Sounds familiar... Good luck with your eye surgery.

Questions about your computer, yes or no:
Are your icons organized? Yes.
In a particular way? Yes, by types of programs.
Some on the right side? No.
Some on the left side? All of them.
Sideways? No.
Upside down? Only if I turn the monitor upside down.
Do you have a screen saver? No. In fact, I don't think this computer came with any.
Are you happy with your server? If you mean my Internet service provider, mostly yes.
Do you yell/cuss at it once in awhile? On the rare occasions it goes down, I just sigh and wait for it to come back.

Food questions:
If you could only have one meal for the rest of your life what would that be? Chicken fettuccine Alfredo topped with broccoli florets and some type of citrus fruit on the side. At least I'm getting the 4 food groups with that meal
Would you be willing to eat a bowl of crickets for $50,000? No, thanks.
What is your perfect pizza? Thin crust pizza with pepperoni and ground Italian sausage.
What is your favorite breakfast food? Cinnamon roll French toast with scrambled eggs, but I only have it once a year at a particular restaurant here in town.
Have you ever eaten/tasted a crayon or glue? No.
Do you like pop-sickles? Yes.
Have you had an ice-cream bar lately? It's been a while.
^^^Would you like one now? Sure!
Have you had any strawberry shortcake lately? No, it's been years.

Misc. nonsense:
Has it rained near you lately? Yes, it did the past couple of days.
Have you ever danced in the rain?
What is the most common thing you lose? I usually don't lose anything because I'm fairly organized.
Do you know your blood type? No.
Have you ever donated blood? No.
Have you called in sick to work or school when you weren't really sick? A couple of times.
^^^Did you get caught? I think one time but I was already on my way out of that job anyway.
Are you afraid of heights? Yes.
Okay what are you afraid of? Being stuck in an elevator, especially if a big earthquake hits and the power goes out. I'd probably die of a heart attack. That's why I'm very thankful I work on the first floor of my workplace (the building has 9 floors).
Have you ever been pulled over by a cop? Yes.
^^^What happened? Just had a few words, then he let me go. I think he thought I was someone else.

Do you know any knock knock jokes? I used to but I've forgotten them all.

I hope all of you are having a Fun Day Sunday.
