Good morning posters, and yes, it's still lovely weather here.
I'm sitting at the computer mulling over what to have as a peeve, when I just heard the little bell on the cat's collar tinkle behind me- she's sitting on the other chair.
So I suddenly thought;
People who are cruel to animals.
By the way, I came across this old photo of the cat earlier on;
It would be pretty great if it were acceptable to lets say..
Kick the person you see kicking a dog.. just harder with steel toe boots.
But then again that would make me no better right?
How could anyone be cruel to THIS? (They said it's "Mookie" the Chihuahua puppy.) I don't know what's in some people's hearts to be cruel to animals. Yet others would never dream of being mean. PS. I like little bells on cats. Maybe my dog needs some for when he gets into the bathroom garbage can.
I totally agree, that is horrible! My son in law adopted a chiuahua who happened to show up in the garage of their old apts a few years back, she had obviously been abused so he took her to the vet the next day and had her examined, then kept her, we still have her to this day but she is still very skiddish around strange people.
Ive been looking into working animal rescue once I get settled in OK, but I have to start off volunteering at a local animal shelter, maybe in my spare time. Ever watch 'Animal Cops'? Im about DONE with retail.
What a great peeve! It has been done, but can't be done enough and I am peeved every time. I also think cruelty to people is equally peeving.
