In case you don't know how to do it, here's how I do it...

minimize or close all your open windows

once you are looking at your desktop picture, hit the PrtScr (print screen button) Its on the top row of buttons, towards the far right.

It will seem like nothing happens- don't worry, it did.

Open your MS Paint program

right click on the white area and select the edit button and ' Paste'

your desktop should pop up! You can resize it if its too large (which it may be)

save the picture (somewhere and with a name you can remember)

go to a free photo hosting site (I use photobucket, but there are tons of them out there). upload photo.

get the DIRECT LINK code and copy it (photobucket has several options and tells you each, direct link is the one I use)

come back here, hit reply, and hit the little box that looks like a sun over a mountain. Paste the URL of your photo in that box.

Now your desktop is online!

MusicalZoo, I like the silver color on your desktop, for some reason that "blue" color schema got on my nerves ever since I started working with XP in 2002.

LiveWire - the picture from my laptop was taken just outside of Sedona when we drove through there last year.

Yep, it is. I don't remember seeing any around any other time, but there were 10 of hem in that tree that morning. Probably just passing through.
