PETA opposes tribute to fried chicken

FRANKFORT, Ky. - Animals rights advocates are squawking at a measure that would make fried chicken Kentucky's official picnic food.
PETA opposes tribute to fried chicken - Yahoo! News (broken link)

*** This is chicken sh*t. What pluck. Are Peta's brains fried? Who's egging them on? And who hatched this half baked fiasco? They sound cracked and *ock-eyed to me. What peckers. They're gonna be toast. They're running afoul of common sense. You thought you wouldn't hear a peep out of me regarding this but my feathers are really ruffled now. My yoke in heavy and my sinuses are now runny. I'm boiling. I'm scrambling for answers to save my bacon. This burns my bisquets. The gravy train is stopping. This is not what I call poultry in motion. This is gonna blow thigh high. They soon won't have a leg to stand on. Got to get in my deuce coup, scratch up some bread for gas money and get outta here to find another roost on the sunny side of town. I'm shell shocked but I'm trying to do my breast. Now I lay me down to sleep.

Yeah...you know what else is funny about PETA....they don't care about the feelings of babies being aborted but they care deeply about the feelings of rats...go figure ! Even though Im a vegetarian, I don't support them, they don't help animals like they say, they just want your money.

The thing that bothers me about one-issue groups is they tend to resort to the most idiotic ways to attract attention to their cause. As worthwile as animal welfare is, PETA has done probably as much harm as good to the issue. Just my two cents worth.

One time on a LONG trip, I spent a night in Kentucky and the only place within walking distance of the hotel (I couldn't stand the idea of getting back in the car to drive anywhere after driving all day) was a KFC, it seemed somehow the perfect place and time in space, in Kentucky, eating KFC. The stars were perfectly aligned.

PETA is a bunch of wing nuts.

I agree that Peta is not a happy--shall we say, brood? Especially if they think they can buffalo the public with a wing and a prayer.

What?

Buffalo wings?

OH YUM, love em with blue cheese salad dressing and a bit of celery. Ranch will do in a pinch.

I'm beginning to get the impression that groups like PETA care more about the lives of animals than people. Messed up priorities.

In the interest of full disclosure, PETA should rename itself: PITA (Pain In The A$$). Far more accurate
