Hello to The Questions Of The Day for Sunday September 18, 2016. Being a Virgo born on September 18th, your sensitivity and reserve are among your most easily recognized personality traits. The spotlight is not your place of preference, as you are much more comfortable behind the scenes or in the background. You share birthdays with Frankie Avalon, Greta Garbo and a bunch of other people I've never heard of.

Questions, let's do it...

Food:
Right now I'm eating a Fig Newton cookie, would you like one too?
What was the last cookie you've eaten?
What's the last item you've snacked on?
Now are you craving something to eat?

School time:
Are you or anyone in your family in school now?
When you were in school did you sit in front, middle or back of the classroom?
Were you a teechur's pet?
What was your best class?
What was your worst class?
What do you remember best?

Misc stuff:
Have you ever been to the Hammer Museum in Arkansas?
Have you ever used a hammer to smash rocks or anything?
Have you ever been to the Trash Museum in Connecticut?
When do you put out your trash?
Have you ever been to the Busy Beaver Museum in Illinois?
Have you ever seen a busy beaver?
Have you ever been to the Toilet Museum in Texas?
How many toilets do you have?
Have you ever been to the OZ Museum in Tennessee?
Have you ever seen the Wizard of OZ?
Have you ever been to any unusual museum(s)?

Are you working on any hobbies or home projects now?
Do you like to paint, like pictures or houses?
If not then what do you like to do?

Mikey's Pun Time: "How to grow strawberries..."

Farmer BJ was driving his tractor along the road near Mikey's house with a trailer load of fertilizer.
Mikey was playing in his yard when he saw the farmer approaching and ran over and asked "whatcha got in your trailer mister farmer?
"Manure" farmer BJ replied.
"Whatcha gonna do with it" asked Mikey.
"Put it on my strawberries" said the farmer.
Mikey smiling said "you ought to come and eat with us, we put ice cream on our strawberries
"

Have a good one. I need to get to bed. Have to get up early to head to Chicago for a charity walk on Sunday morning. The walk begins and ends at Soldier Field; a really cool venue. Weather is supposed to be beautiful, so we'll have some breathtaking vistas of the Chicago skyline as we walk along Lake Shore Drive.

What's the last item you've snacked on? - Right now, eating a doughnut.
Now are you craving something to eat? - No. I just got home and I am full but I am going to finish this doughnut, ha, ha.

I went to see night horse racing in West Virginia after I got off work. It's a bit of a drive coming back but not too bad leaving from my job to get there. Beautiful race track.
It was a very good and exciting night. I went out to dinner at a diner that is open late.
Had salmon and lentils.

Came close to a deer that was running way too close to my car. It scared me, less than a half mile from where I live.

School time:

When you were in school did you sit in front, middle or back of the classroom? - Nothing special that I remember.

What was your worst class? - Biology

Have you ever used a hammer to smash rocks or anything? - Caps as a kid.
Have you ever been to the Trash Museum in Connecticut? - Nope, never heard of it. Drove through the state several times...
When do you put out your trash? - When the bag gets full.
Have you ever been to the Busy Beaver Museum in Illinois? - Never heard of that either.
Have you ever seen a busy beaver? - Work is killing me. I don't mind working but I need to find something else. It's tough getting older...
Have you ever been to the Toilet Museum in Texas? - Never heard of it and I have never been to TX.
How many toilets do you have? - One.
Have you ever been to the OZ Museum in Tennessee? - Hopefully visit TN sometime but I will skip that.
Have you ever seen the Wizard of OZ? - Maybe when very small but I don't remember. I do not think so.
Have you ever been to any unusual museum(s)? - Not really.

Are you working on any hobbies or home projects now? - Trying to find another job.
Do you like to paint, like pictures or houses? - No, but maybe I should take it up and see how I do...
If not then what do you like to do? - What I did tonight was fun but I do not go often.
Listen to music, both live and recorded.
If I had a partner, yeah, that.

Thanks, wit-nit.
Happy Sunday! Thank goodness I am off today...
The doughnut is history.

Food:
Right now I'm eating a Fig Newton cookie, would you like one too?
What was the last cookie you've eaten? Annie's gingersnaps
What's the last item you've snacked on? OMG, I just had the BEST piece of apple pie, that I got at a festival I went to today. I wish I'd bought more pieces, or that they had sold whole pies. Yowza, so yummy!
Now are you craving something to eat? ^^^^^

School time:
Are you or anyone in your family in school now Nope, unless you count the OLLI classes I take.
When you were in school did you sit in front, middle or back of the classroom? I'm usually a middle person.
Were you a teechur's pet?
What was your best class? The only class I ever got an A+ in for a final grade was economics. I know, weird, right? I can barely add and subtract.
What was your worst class? Math, duh.
What do you remember best? I think I remember a lot. It's amazing what pops into the mind at odd moments.

Misc stuff:
Have you ever been to the Hammer Museum in Arkansas?
Have you ever used a hammer to smash rocks or anything? I'm sure everyone's going to say this, but it's true: my thumb.
Have you ever been to the Trash Museum in Connecticut?
When do you put out your trash? As late as possible on Monday night unless the raccoons have been active then i wait until 6:45 am Tues am.
Have you ever been to the Busy Beaver Museum in Illinois?
Have you ever seen a busy beaver? Ooops, I read this first as "been". I've seen beaver dams in person but don't think I've seen an actual beaver.
Have you ever been to the Toilet Museum in Texas?
How many toilets do you have? 2 in my house, 1 in my rent house. Have you guys seen the thread about the Gold Toilet in the Guggenheim?
Have you ever been to the OZ Museum in Tennessee?

Have you ever seen the Wizard of OZ? I've read every single one of the OZ books (30 some). Baum's OZ books are available for free download from Project Gutenberg: http://www.gutenberg.org I've seen and worked with posters from the early stage productions of some of Baum's OZ stories. I've seen the 1939 movie. And one of the very coolest theatrical productions I've ever seen was Kevin Kling's OZ riff which used the existing fragments of the 1910 movie as part of the show (and live music. it was so cool!) I'd love to see some of the OZ movies Baum made ca. 1915. Ooo, I found one: here's a free link to The Patchwork Girl of OZ https://archive.org/details/PatchworkOZ . I loves me some OZ!

Have you ever been to any unusual museum(s)? What would you call "unusual"? I've probably worked at some. I enjoy weird artifacts and find it funny how many objects made of human hair I've encountered. More than you might think!

Are you working on any hobbies or home projects now? Always. I have curtains half done, a dress started, a basket started, and I still need to do a 3rd coat of paint on the table. I'm not in the same league as some of you who have actual skills, though.

Do you like to paint, like pictures or houses? I wish I had talent, but I don't.

If not then what do you like to do? I must like to make messes, because that's what I usually make.

Thanks, Wit!
