Straight down from the back is the right and only way.

Mrs. McGowdog told me from the beginning that her family does the over the top thing, so, MCGOWDOG HAD TO PUT THE FOOT DOWN!

My poor misguided husband decided to put his foot down about this important issue and put it from the back......I think he misses that foot.

The toilet paper thing again? Jeez, when I take a roll out of the cabinet ~ whichever way it happens to be in my hand is the way it goes on the roll. Honestly, I've never once in my life paid attention to what way the roll goes on EVER!!!

Whatever way it goes in. Especially if I have to change the roll in the middle of the night, I'm not going to be fussy about it.

My mom, though, is a militant under-the-roll person. I like to mess with her when I'm at her house, installing the roll so the paper rolls over the top. It never fails that, the next time I use the bathroom, she's corrected my "mistake."
