It's been ten years since this thread was started, but the thoughts and pictures are so beautiful that it seems better to revive this than to start another thread to commemorate the solstice today.

This thread shows how people of a wide range of different beliefs can be kind to each other and respect the values each possess.

Happy Solstice everyone. I went to lunch today with my friend who is a Christian/Jehovah's Witness/Religious Science person and I'm a Presbyterian/Sufi/Religious Science/astrology/tarot/Catholic syncretist. I think a lot of people are syncretist and don't really know it. (Or accept it?) It poured rain today and was gloomy so it doesn't feel like summer yet!
