I don't see a problem with it at all. The point of having a baby doll is to play mom/baby and babies are breast fed. I don't think it's any different than the baby dolls you can bottle feed and change diapers on.
Clearly the problem people are having with this is that they see breast feeding as something sexual which it is definitely not. There is nothing more sexual with breast feeding than bottle feeding. If you think it is then there is something wrong with you. Feeding babies is nothing we have to protect children from. If this is something little girls want and think is fun let them have it.

Two flowers that symbolize breasts, really? So, the baby is a vector like a honey bee or a humingbird? I find the whole concept stupid. It could confuse a young child when explaining pollination and it's importance in nature. In the past, some girls have had a hard enough time with science. Most often due to no fault of their own, but by society. There's no need to continue down that road and imo this toy does exactly that.

I would not buy this as a toy for my daughter. I might consider it as a gag gift for someone. Gag.

My daughter was completely into Bratz...I called them "ho dolls"...she loved them...and still has several. So....what do I know about buying dolls? I guess if she really wanted a breastfeeding doll....I would have bought it for her. But....she has not seen me breastfeed any babies...

I wonder, is this doll really for a Mother who breastfeeds to buy for her daughter...

I absolutely do not see problem with this doll. It makes no difference to me, and would buy if my DD was interested.

For ages we had dolls that came kitted out with fake milk bottles, I don't recall anyone making big fuss.

Why a special doll. The other ones can breastfeed too. I'm not a big fan of baby dolls that "do" things like need a diaper change. But you can pretend to breastfeed any baby doll so I don't get it.

Why is a breastfeeding doll gag inducing?

Probably because most dolls come with a bottle as if that should be the default way of feeding a baby. Making it a "breastfeeding" doll makes a point, which I don't have an issue with.
