Parents of teenagers know that there comes a time when you can embarrass your kid simply by being visible. So when one Wisconsin couple opted to flood their daughter's Facebook page with pictures of themselves posing goofily for the camera, they probably knew they were inflicting some emotional pain.

I love it.

I tell my DD that if she is disrespectful, I am going to make sure I take the trash to the curb in my pajamas just as her bus comes to pick her up.

I filmed my two older kids' pig sty rooms and put the video on their facebook pages.

Embarrassing. I don't see how embarrassment solves anything.

Thumbs up. Not as a punishment, but as a reminder not to take life too seriously. Since they took her phone away for a week in punishment, I'm guessing the parents were just having a little fun at her expense.

I would be against parents posting embarassing photos of the girl but since they are just goofy pictures of themselves, I don't see any big deal.

Good for the parents. I just hope some self described "concerned individual" doesn't decide to make a federal case out of the parent's decision to post the photos and try to sue the parents for some BS invasion of privacy.

All it takes to post a picture to someone else's page is to tag them in the picture and post it to your own page -- it should show up on their page as well.

It sounds like most of the kid's friends loved it.

The kids friends get that they are being punished so to speak, so I doubt that it is much of a problem. we take our kids phones and ipods away, and keep them off the computer, accept for homework. (Our family computer is in the living room and hardly private) Our kids also know something else. Their mom has shown up at middle school all tore up, if you know what I mean, in a robe, and slippers, with her hair not done and no makeup and visited class when they were out of line at school. She has had no problem having a teacher let her sit near one of our sons in class. It turns out that the kids learn fast that they don't want to mess around in school, or mess with their mom. LOL We have found that doing that is a great motivator in the education deparment anyway. I would do it but my style dictates that I am allready torn up. LOL, it just wouldn't have the same effect. LOL
