Yes I would. And I know a couple who named both boys after the dad, and the daughter is named after the mom. First and middle names. And, yes, this couple thinks very highly of themselves...rofl
No, I think my first name is a little clunky. The only thing I really like about it is that it works in most European languages, so people are familiar with it.
No. I've never really liked my name (first or last), though I don't hate my first name enough to want to change it. I've long since reconciled myself to the idea that it's my name, and I'll be stuck with it until I die. But if I wasn't already saddled with it, I wouldn't have wanted to stick someone else with it.

I don't hate either my first or last name individually... but they don't 'flow' together. First ends with K and last starts with a hard C. Can't say them without a distinct pause. I expect my mother didn't even think about it, because she would've been adding the middle name.
