Never been in one.. so cant comment on that.... but thats not the point. people are paying to sit and eat in some sort of peace not a rabble and screaming child...
Oh my Lord, that place would drive me crazy. I'd rather listen to the crying baby than all that background noise.
I got drug their once. I would have rather been in a room full of crying babies then that place. Dear lord it was awful. I think they make it that loud so that people order more alcohol to be able to tolerate it.
I can't imagine why a baby would shriek with excitement (or fear) from time to time in that place
If my daughter started being loud, she was taken outside until she calmed down. Body language and facial expressions teach them at that age. I think it's rude to allow your kid to scream in these places. People pay good money to go out to eat nowadays and I hate having my dinner ruined by disrespectful people or parents that cant control their kids.

This age and this phase isn't continued screaming or disruptions. Its an occasional scream or shriek here and there. Not constant. Its communication.

I really don't see the point of bothering, if you're eating at Texas Roadhouse. Can't even imagine how the two biddy ladies were even able to hear the baby, considering all the other rabble that goes on there.
Cracks me up that the women who complained were described in the article as in the late 50s or early 60s (but that is just the mother's guess - they could be in their 40s) and yet in this thread they're being referred to as "old biddies" and "old ladies." Geez, ageism much?
People in their 50s or 60s are not old, people, IF they are indeed in that age range.

yes, well, karma will seek out it's day sometime very soon, b/c the older you grow, the faster time goes, therefore, not long from now, those who complained about "old biddies" will one day very soon, be old ladies themselves....
so...
