I am looking for any information that might still be available about land registry in Van Tassell. My Great Grandfather had a land claim of 320 acres using the Homestead Act in 1909. The land registry at that time was a box car that acted as the county seat.
They built a 2 room house and a 4 horse barn that might still be standing. it was 6 miles SW of Van tassell.
My GGfather's name is Anton (and May) Zielinski
Any info or ideas how procede would be welcome.
