As many of you know, they help find my biological mother and sister 2 years ago. Unfortunately, things did not seem to work out. When I saw shows of people overwhelmed to meet their daughters, sisters and brothers, I was shocked to find very cool people.
But, I knew at that point that my humbleness came from someone, and so, 2 years later, the question remained......"Could I get my graciousness from my father"? People told me I was crazy to look for anyone else, after all, 46 years later, I was thrown to the Wolves once again.
I think I talked to my sister this evening. Unfortunately, my father passed away in 2000, but the excitedness and happiness that I heard on the other end of the phone was nothing like I experienced two years ago. We are both looking into DNA tests, and of course I just found out I might have a half brother as well.
God bless the good hearted souls that help people here. Sometimes, the stories are happy and sometimes they are sad. In my heart, I knew I could not give up...........my father would not let me.
Well, I will tell you, I wish there was a way to give you the recognization that you guys deserve. People pay thousands of dollars to find find lost family and friends and you guys do it from the goodness of your heart. I need to write to Oprah or Ellen.........
Just a quick update: getting a DNA test, but we know we are sisters and through all of this I found a half brother. A little overwhelming and quite a bit different since I found my biological mother. My father's side of the family are very welcoming. Sometimes, it is easy to give up, but truth and closure is important.
Yeah, we could have found Oprah's sister much sooner...

I needed that ! I read that and burst out laughing. Very good and I bet you both could have done just that. Actually, there are many fine searchers on here that truly restore my faith in the human race. Thanks to all of you that help others.
Update: Went for a DNA test, sister backed out of the test after she demanded I get one. Folks be careful out there.
