PH5120, I hope you don't mind me asking this, but how did you come about finding this post about Cheryl Miller? I ask, because those of us who are "seasoned" members see many people claim they know someone in a post who has never come on city data to post before. But, all of a sudden, in this case, over 3 years after this person posted, there is activity on the post.
I agree with Howard555, why don't you give the person who the OP is looking for the information that she should come post on this forum and let her reach out to the OP with some information that will let her know that it is truly the person they are searching for, something only the 2 of them know.
Just curious to know, if you don't mind, why where you searching for this Cheryl Miller if you know her. Why would one even bother? I don't go Googling my friends names unless there's some event they'd have been in the paper, or on the news, they want me to help them find.
The person who says she knows my old friend sent me a personal message to my email from this forum.
I posted the original message a few years ago and forgot about it.
This person must have found this forum with this post from a search engine while typing my old friends name.
Probably checking when my old friends birthday is because they forgot. It's in the middle of November.
This happened to me also years ago when I was using a search engine.
Someone was looking for an old friend on this forum from years ago I knew and I was able to give them some info towards where they could locate them. That's why I originally joined this forum.
I thought if it worked for them it might for me.
That's why I posted looking for this old friend I haven't seen or spoke to in 30 + years.
Just an oddity no one responded till 3 years later I guess.
I hope this is her.
I'd like to see how she's doing.
I haven't gotten a response yet so it might not be who I'm looking for.

Ever Google yourself ? I do it all the time.
Cs2984 could be Cheryl.
And she is just feeling me out trying to figure out who I am.

The only time I do is when I can't remember where I posted something, and it's not by my real name, but my screen name.
In the past 6 years I have Goggled myself to find me when I was in a newspaper article. Other than that, I just wanted to see who else has the same name I do - one was a sex therapist. I can only imagine people I knew in HS that may be looking for me finding that! I don't do Facebook, so no one can find me on there.
Just out of curiosity, I just Googled myself. Out of a total of 69 possibilities there is the newspaper article repeated a few times, a couple old businesses long sold repeated over and over, and a couple directory listings. The rest are not me. If I Google my screen name, there's more posts than my real name!
