I met David Phillip Smith in Los Angeles, CA back in Oct "71. I was 19 years old at the time. One month later I was expecting a child.
Although he did not want to acknowledge his son, he was ordered to pay child support in 1975.
I did not need the money, but you know how the court system can be.
Now my son is 37 years old, married with a child of his own.
When he asked if I knew any family history from his father's side of the family, I was dumbfounded. Duh, no. I know he mentioned and showed me a picture of his daughter. In 1971 she would have been 5 years old.
If anyone can give this message to any other family member of
David Phillip Smith I would like to know some family history.
The only info I have is that I was told that he was from Bisbee, AZ age approximately 61 or 62. How truthful he was I don't know but he mentioned that his birthday would be 02/12/1947 maybe less.
