Does anyone have the US Bank Cash Visa Signature card? The one with 5% cash back on the first $2,000 each quarter in categories that you chose. What are the categories each quarter? Do you like the card? I'm thinking of applying for a new CC and trying to decide between that card and the Citicard DoubleCash card.

Each quarter you pick two 5% categories and one 2% (which is unlimited). You HAVE to choose them each quarter, or you won't get anything but the standard 1% everywhere.

They also do fun promotions like extra points for how many gold medals the USA got during the Olympics and other things.

Thanks for the link. I kind of had a feeling it was too good to be true, as the 5% categories are way too specific to make applying for the card worthwhile. I don't care about the 2% categories as I have other cards that will pay me that much or better for the listed categories. I guess I'll apply for the Citi Doublecash card.

Really? I don't think so. But if the link helped, great! I want that doublecash card too. For the places I don't get 5% or 2% with my USB card. But I love the USB card! They pay out extra if you wait to redeem your points, as I do anyway.
