Very unfortunate, but, she knew the deal when she bought the car.

I've been angry, bitter, and despondent the whole time I've been in this house, so I'm desperate and will grab at straws for anything that might provide respite.
I smell co-dependency issues.......

I'll say it again, you're hanging around with the wrong type of people. Change your circumstances, cut the anchors loose and get out of there. If you don't, you have no one to blame but yourself.

Taking on financial obligations that would put you on the hook for something you can't afford, is not "managing flawlessly". No matter the reason, you made a bad choice. It's really no different than rationalizing why you need the latest smartphone or have to eat out every meal. You "want" something (peace and quiet, the latest and greatest, etc) that is beyond your budget.

I bet we pay her medical care. and her rent. and her groceries.

If you can't afford the car, you shouldn't buy it. If you finance it, understand what you are getting into.

Boo-Hoo. Nobody to blame but herself.

Read the article that had many names and different situations happening.

One woman had her car turned OFF FOUR times while paymts were current. Believe she made a settlement with the company.

Once worked with a guy who when getting off work at night found his Vette was GONE. Car paymts were current and he called the Police to report his car STOLEN. Ended up getting car back with the TITLE and some CASH to boot.

They do make mistakes and I for one have NO sympathy for anyone making car paymts.

A car DLR will sell you any car from his lot and does not care if your kids do w/o new shoes or food as long as you sign that bottom line and drive the car off his lot.

I once sold NEW and used cars in my early young days and was told that if I did not sell one the guy down the street would.

On man with a car full of kids wanted a NEW car from us but did not qualify from our lender.

A week later the same guy is passing by in a NEW Ford wagon with his kids inside....Ford dlr down the street sold one to him.......so you see where my sympathy lies.

shrug...i have no money, indefinite bad credit i cannot fix, obviously i cannot qualify for a place of my own, so what else should i expect?

i used to think i had astonishingly bad luck in housing, then i realized i am in a financial ghetto where this sort of crap comes with the territory and is standard..

I could be broke too if I was not very careful about who owes me.

I walk away from many drilling jobs if I do not think I will be paid.

What do you mean "???" ? Pitt Chick nailed it. This story is about a car repo device and how some consumers have been affected. You are not talking about your personal experience with a car repo device, or a car repo in general. Instead, you quote a comment someone made about the story, and ask how it applies to you. You go on to talk about your living situation, your utility bill situation, and your efforts to get a small business off the ground.
