Not sure where to post this, but has anyone gotten a check yet from Facebook Settlement?
Supposedly about $30 per class participant is supposed to go out "the end of March 2024" and it's April 5 now. It's something I'd forgotten about until an old e-mail jogged my memory.
On October 10, 2023, following a hearing, the United States District Court for the Northern District of California issued an Order Granting Motion for Final Approval of Settlement, an Order Awarding Attorneys’ Fees, Expenses, and Service Awards and a Final Judgment. Despite the Court's Order granting both Motions, and overruling the Objections filed, two Objectors have filed Notices of Appeals.
Settlement payments cannot be distributed to eligible claimants until the appeals are resolved. The time frame for resolving an appeal can vary widely, and we will know more as the appeals proceed.
