Hard liquid cash? A little over $10,000 at one point back in 2011/12.

It tends to disappear is the problem.

It's only money I guess.

So from a more emotionally-driven perspective, there are 2 times that stand out in my memory as "wow! That's a lot of money!"

1) When I first started college I had some scholarships that didn't kick in right away, and I had to use all of my savings/investments/gifts given to me by my great-parents (basically my entire college fund) to pay for the first semester. The money was transferred to my checking account, and I remember almost fainting as I wrote the check to the bursars office. I feel anxiety now just thinking about it! And that was close to 20 years ago

2) Once, my husband got a huge, unexpected, six-figure bonus. His boss called while we were on vacation, said "wanted to thank you for a great job, and don't want you to think there's been a mistake when your paycheck direct deposits tonight." My husband woke me up in the hotel room that night to show me when the money hit our bank account We just laid there and stared at it. I kept looking from our personal info. Yep correct. To the account number. Yep. To the balance? What, what?! That can't be right!! It was pretty awesome.
My husband is being offered a corporate executive role this evening... and I have fantasies of this kinda thing happening to us one day.

That's amazing.. lucky you!

The most I carry around is usually less than $100 cash. Net worth is personal but I have more now than I ever did before!

I also carry this to get a laugh or two!

250 Dinars is worth about $0.20

Total net worth I have more now than ever. It goes up each month for the most part. Liquid cash it's what I have now in savings. About $25k.

$250K in cash and Treasuries. Like BellaLind, total net worth keeps creeping up for the most part (barring market drops like the last two weeks).

$125k cash/investments... it's going to be tough psychologically when we hit $160k since that's the remaining balance on our mortgage.

I originally put 22% down 3 years ago and we're now 50% paid off. The thought of paying off a condo in 4 years is pretty tempting, but we're looking at upgrading to a house in the next year or so for when we have kids and I don't know if we want to rent the condo out or sell it and use the equity for the next house.

So for now, it just sits in low risk investments and online savings accounts.
