Unsure if this is the correct placed to post, but I wondered if anyone knew of a way to not use a credit or debit card to sign up for free trial offers such as TV channels (Sundance in particular) I have a pre paid gift card that they will not accept, and I did not see a way to use a Paypal account.

I would rather use something that has a finite limit and not one that I need to remember to cancel after a certain amount of time. I will, but would rather not. I have had problems in the past of trying to cancel a reoccuring charge on my card as I can't just tell my credit card company to stop the transactions, I have to deal with the vendor.

The system will recognize that the card number is not a credit or debit card, so there's no way around it. You have to remember to cancel the membership once that trial ended, or close the account when you don't use it at all.

Just set a reminder on your phone. That's what I do. If you dont trust that they will let you cancel easily then probably best not to do it anyway

They are smart, it's your debit card, credit card or nothing. They want you to forget to cancel lol
I have never had any issues unless I messed up and forget. Just set a reminder in your phone so you remember.

Just set a reminder on Google calendar at least 3 days before the trial ends.
