Cats away! Artist turns his dead pet into flying helicopter after it is killed by a car | Mail Online

Quote:
Many animal lovers find it hard to part with their pets when they die.

So when cat Orville, named after the famous aviator Orville Wright, was run over by a car, his artist owner decided to turn him into a permanent piece of artwork as the ultimate tribute by transforming him into a flying helicopter.

Sorry, I think it's creepy too. I keep my pets' ashes nearby, but there's no way I'd want their lifeless bodies around, especially in such an unnatural pose.

The (dead) cat looks scared. Sorry, this is just so creepy.

I love my cats dearly, but that photo is just ... scary.

Oh I didn't expect this! Poor kitty - I feel like it's disrespectful.

That is sick. If he gave it that much attention while it was alive maybe it wouldn't have been hit by a car.

How odd! I'm not agreeing with those saying that if he cared the cat wouldn't have died. That's ignorant.
