Iz there a reputable adoption rescue agency for big cats?. The money would need to be for real solid efforts to rescue, adopt and care for big cats.

Do you mean large house cats or actual big cats?

You need training, permits and facility to own any exotics in the cat family btw.

Actual Big Cats. just looking for place to donate to that actually takes care of them, rescues them etc.

You might start off searching for facilities that are AZA (American Association of Zoos and Aquariums) validated, with current USDA licensing (with publicly-searchable compliance records) in different states. There are small private mom-pop "sanctuaries" that don't provide acceptable care. They are nothing more than glorified private zoos existing primarily for the enjoyment of the owners. One possible place to start vetting them:

The Performing Animals Welfare Society is a good organization and is an accredited animal sanctuary. They have big cats along with other species.
