Is there a rat or rodent advocacy group out there

to defend poor furry animals that are often mistaken as pests

Well, a biologist explained it to me.

When it is under a microscope it is scat
if it lands on me it is sh*t

I have rescued mice and rats, but if one is in my attic or garage eating my dry goods then it is a pest.

My daughter has had pet rats since she was 9 years old. She has a girl rat now as we speak. I will say this they make the best pets. She has never had one that has bit, her rat plays with her dogs and everything..the only thing suzy Q doesn't get along with is the ferret and even at that they don't fight out of the cage but do in a cage..So they def have to have their own dwellings..lol

Can't see myself killing one if it is in my house... must trap and release somewhere.

I guess it could be a "pest" like a fly, kind of... so yeah I would want it out but I would take the time to do it the humane way.
Or... just get Kitties and they probably will not come in at all!

what exactly is going on?
...are they in your house, yard??

"Have-a-heart" traps work good, you must release them elsewhere.

I want to get rid of them, and release them somewhere safe

Can PETA help me out?

May want to look into these: pest rodent repeller, plug in - Google Product Search

They had them on QVC before, too.
