Cut them some slack. The internet has changed the media landscape. It also doesn't help them if Philly has been in a slump for decades. You can't expect them to buck the trend while everything else around them is in a downward trajectory

Actually the Inquirer was at its best starting in the Rizzo era, into the 80s, when the city was cratering out its industrial base and loosing population.

But, agreed, news delivery is very different today.
