Are there any IT or tech groups that meet in the Phoenix area? There are a ton in SD, but I'm not finding any here. I know about Meetup.com, but surely there is a list somewhere.

If you're on LinkedIn, there's a SW IT Jobs Group that has periodic meetings in the area.

Yes, a few. Either check Meetup, or else Google for user groups. They seem to be mostly west or south.
