Title pretty much says it all. I like to shoot darts, but not the plastic tipped sort.

I know of two places in Tempe that have bristle boards. "The Boulders" is near Broadway and Roosevelt. It has a really good beer selection, by the way. I can't remember the name of the other one, but it's near B&B Pool on the SE corner of Baseline and McClintock.

Does anyone know of places farther south in Tempe, or in the north parts of Chandler, that have some bristle dartboards open to the public?

Thanks,

hikernut

As a former avid steel-tipper, one of the first things I noticed about the Phoenix area when I moved here was how few and far between steel tip venues are. Many bar owners fear they will have to pay higher insurance or face greater liability for hosting steel - and soft-tip machines are a great revenue generator for the space!

Don't have your answer, but you may want to ask the Desert Dart League folks - they would surely know. The contact info is on the DDL Web Site.

Shoot well!

When I moved here 20 years ago from Boston I brought my steel darts and my love for candlepin and duck pin bowling. So funny how I not only could not find any places that had these things but the looks and comments I got when I tried to explain the bowling were hilarious!
