Woke up and AC blowing air. Not cold or warm just a lot of air. A coil was replaced about a 3 months ago and the AC guy at that time told me I probably needed a new unit. However he was not sure so I'm hesitant to use them again. Does anyone have a good reliable AC company? On the sad side the house is going up for sale within the month and this happens. Oh well.

We have been very happy with Donley for many years. I don't think they are going to be the lowest cost if you shop around, but I have always been pleased with their quality. And although you will not recoup the investment in a new unit, having a brand new unit will be a great selling point in your listing.

I had a great experience with Chas Roberts.

Arizona HVAC & Plumbing | Chas Roberts (if a link is allowed).

Thankfully, not a frequent need, however, they were Great To Deal With, On Time, Efficient and Dependable.

Thank you all. Not a good day for AC unit to give way.

Good point, PWrightt . . . they rarely "poop out" when the temperature is in the 30's.

I've done well with Comfort World. Hobaica was also competent, though perhaps a little temperamental.

Try Day and Night Air Conditioning. I had a good experience with them.

Excuse me, but I think this kind of post isn't helpful. First, I hate the assumption that people would want to fool around with it themselves. But, second, more importantly, it would help if you said something more specific about Day and Night. Are you implying that they rip you off far beyond other companies? Are you implying that their hourly rate is simply at the high end? Are they incompetent? Or are you just saying that for any project you are a DIY guy?
