Looks like I may have a choice of up to CenturyLink, Cox, and Orbitel. If they all enter the Octagon of Horror, which one emerges victorious?

I've used Century Link for a long time with no issues. Others will say Cox is better.

Cox is much better than Century Link for the majority of users.

Do you stream movies or just use it for internet?

Cox is the only viable option for today's needs IMO

Sometimes, yes, and I don't have issues. I keep hearing that Cox is better, but I don't feel motivated to change unless some great deal comes down the pike that makes me want to switch everything over.

It depends on where in Chandler you are, in some areas Centurylink is great other areas not so much but cox is very expensive. Go to the centurylink website and put in your address and they will tell you what services are available for your address.

I have Century Link. I've had it for years now. I get 50 mbps on a 40 contract - consistently, never have problems. A while back I was having some issues with just too many devices on wireless, but got my own router instead of the POS that is built into their modem and I don't think I have had to restart/boot since - several months. I never got that kind of reliability from Cox. 40-50 mbps is more than enough for TV streaming. CL has 100 now on my block, but I can't see paying the extra money for it just yet. Also, CL does not have an enforced data cap like Cox does.

I don't have any problem streaming on Centurylink. It's 40 MB down / 4 MB Up, and $40/mo (including taxes) price for life

As for Orbitel, within Chandler it is only available in the SunBird community, as well as Sun Lakes, the latter which is actually outside the Chandler city limits.
