Ok, so I haven't had a chance to watch TV much, today I have been glued since I am working from home more often. LOL, some of the shows and previews I have seen are hilarious!!! Can't stop laughing. It's SOOOO dumb, but that game show, WIPEOUT! LMAO! Is crying funny!

Then I saw the preview for this show, Modern Family! Looks great and so funny. I miss TV. What are some of your favorite shows that I might enjoy and become addicted to for the next month or so??? While I work from home until September, I want to catch up on some great programming. I knew that DVR would come in handy, LOL! Let's just see how long it lasts until I get bored. Check out the preview for Modern Family! LOL:

Nobody has a favorite or "must watch" show to suggest?

My mom suggested Desperate Housewives and soap operas...NO THANK YOU and other people and friends shows like Family Guy and Closer. They are ok, but not really catching my interests so looking for a few good suggestions. And YES, this is important to me...read above, LOL! Thanks...you guys are the best!

Actually, Modern Family looks kind of funny.
I watch about an hour or so of TV a night - maybe this will get my attention, as long as it doesn't cross with Big Bang Theory.

I like Monday nights on CBS: The Big Bang Theory, Two and a half Men, and Rules of Engagement.

Fox is currently re-running all of its "House" episodes. Even though the show is a bit formulaic at this point, there's still plenty of wit in the dialogue. And Hugh Laurie is just such a charismatic actor, I'd watch him just reading the newspaper!

"Bones" is another clever CSI type drama...although with a heavy dose of camp thrown in for good measure. Of course, there's also "Ugly Betty" and "Grey's Anatomy".

For drama, I really enjoy "Medium" w/ Patricia Arquette...and not just because it supposedly takes place in Phoenix. It's well-directed and handles moral dilemnas well, not always leaving one with a facile conclusion. However, I think the show is switching networks and moving to CBS from NBC, so not sure if you'll see the re-runs floating anytime soon.

Another drama I just started checking out is "Kings", which runs on Saturday nights. It has an interesting and somewhat creepy premise: a modern-day monarchy ruled by a man who has the complex nature of a mafia Don. I haven't watched enough episodes yet to make a firm judgment, but it seems to have some possibilities (e.g. the King's son who is closeted, his daughter having an affair with a prominent military hero, a potential brewing coup, etc.).

Can you read? I thought it was funny and I would share and give an example of shows that catch my attention. Anyway, I just watched a couple of episodes Bones (LOVE David Boreanaz) and am definitely going to watch that show! Thanks for suggesting it. That guys attitude in House gets under my skin, but I can't help but watch, UGH!!! LOL Thanks for the suggestions!

Wishin4sun, don't you realize that gays/lesbians get a free toaster every time they 'promote' the gay lifestyle?
