We are being overrun with Canada Geese here...They have such large families. The pair in the foreground originally had 13 babies...Thank goodness the eagles and otters take a few, but they can't keep up...

Those are beautiful pictures! I still love Geese - even though they can be territorial and obnoxious. The family dynamic is absolutely fascinating. I have never seen so many babies at one time.

We had the same problem in our yard- one hot pursuit from the dog and they got the picture. BTW, the adults will not defend the little ones, they abandoned them in a heart beat.
