It looks like Sony RX100M3 is finally getting some competition....the Panny LX100 is also another good competitor for the RX100 series...this is good for consumers as prices will dip around the holidays...though at higher isos, the RX100m3 still rules over the Canon....great photos from that Canon 1" sensor along with 24-100mm f1.8-2.8.

I'm looking to pick up one of these smaller cameras to have with me at all times especially when I don't want to lug my other equipment around, something I can keep in the car under the seat and fit in my pocket. Just have to find one not to small for my big hands.
I did go down to the local Best Buy but they did not have too many on display and at that they have them locked to these devices so you really an't get the feel for them.
I am interested in that Sony Sony RX100M3 and one or two of the Canon models like the Power shot G1X II and G7X.
I really like the 24mm starting point for the zoom, zooming to 100 or 120 would be a plus but I could live with the 24-70 zoom of the Sony.
Having a view finder is a must, I have been places where people asked me to take a picture with their cameras that only had a LCD screen and could not see a thing with the sun.
Also a onboard flash is high on the list also although I guess I could live with a separate flash but when you are spending north of $500. for a point and shoot it should have items like onboard view finder and flash.
I also want to check out the Lumix ZX 40.
Does anybody know which of these would fit big hands better or any other cameras I should consider.

I have read a couple of great reviews on the G7X for video and still photos.
