Today, July 4, I turned 26. However, I rarely go anywhere on the 4th because of crowds and expense. A week and a half ago I decided that I wanted to take a day trip to NYC the day before my birthday. I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia and a day trip is easy. Needless to say, I had an AWESOME time. I felt so at peace and it was just a great way to celebrate turning 26, a day early. Today I just relaxed. My parents did have a cake for me today.
