I took a road trip with some like-minded photography buds recently. We were headed to Moab and Arches, via Page, AZ. We shot around the clock and never missed a sunset or sunrise. So basically we hardly slept or ate for a week. It was worth it though. I shot over 30GB of images during the trip, and will be processing pictures for quite some time to come. Here is a small sampler.
#0 Horseshoe Bend - A must see when you're in Page. I'd been there before, but this is my best image of Horseshoe to date.
#1 Welcome to Mars (aka, Paria Plateau)
#2 My buddy lines up his shot, and provides a sense of scale for this one
#3 Moving right along to Moab and Arches, here's the standard Turret Arch through the Window shot.
#4 Here's the non-standard Turret Arch through the Window shot.
#5 I turned around just in time to see this.
#6 Dead Horse Point near Moab
#7 On the way home, we drove up into the La Sal Mountains and found foliage and variable weather which made for interesting shots.
As you are processing can you give me some focal lengths on these first few? I need to convert it to 4x5 lens requirements.
10, 10, 22.
BTW, EXIF info is attached to all my images. If you don't already have it, install this in Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3905
It allows you to right-click on any image and show its exif data. Very useful little gadget (which is why I always know which lens you used. ).
