I'm in Pittsburgh for a Bon Jovi concert at the Consol Center this evening. Staying at Cambria Suites. Anybody know of any place that isn't too far away from where I am that offers a really good Sunday breakfast or brunch buffet? Thanks in advance for any replies.

Lidia's - Pittsburgh (my favorite)

Six Penn Kitchen

Each is a mile from your hotel, in different directions. You'll probably want to drive, especially to Lidia's, as the roads can be confusing there.

Thank you for your reply. Are either of these buffets or is it order off the menu only. Also, are both just casual dress? Jeans and a sweater ok?

Six Penn may be a little dressier in general, but I've never been for brunch.

I've gone to Lidia's dozens of times, and never get particularly dressed up. Last week, I wore a polo shirt and "nothing special" khakis, and if anyone thought less of me for the outfit, they didn't let me know. In fact, the service has never been anything less than wonderful. Lidia's has the best buffet in Pittsburgh IMO (weekend brunch only), plus you get an entree and a drink. It costs $25.

You can get their signature item, the "all you can eat" pasta tasting as your entree, so it's more than worth the price. Most highly recommended.

The Omni William Penn Hotel is very close to Consol and has an excellent Sunday Brunch. Casual is fine.
